Porto-Vecchio

01

Just a few minutes from Don Cesar, the old town of Porto Vecchio and its ramparts, the "upper town", are home to shops and restaurants. Let yourself be charmed by its unique atmosphere where a perfume of Dolce Vita floats.

The "lower town", the marina, also hosts bars and restaurants.

By staying at the Hotel Don César in Porto Vecchio, all the prestigious places of South Corsica are accessible to you. Admire superb landscapes between sea and mountain, forests and natural reserves, creeks and heavenly beaches.

THE beaches
must-haves

South Corsica is one of the favourite destinations for holidaymakers, who particularly appreciate its superb beaches. Don't miss the fine sand of Santa Giulia, the half-moon beach of Rondinara, or Palombaggia and its pine forest. Further south, near Bonifacio (a must-see!), the small and large Sperone, two very fine sandy beaches framed by rocky walls, offer a dream setting.

Corsica
of the south

Southern Corsica is full of natural treasures, prehistoric sites and architectural treasures that you must absolutely understand in order to better understand Corsica.

During your stay with us, don't hesitate to go and admire the Aiguilles de Bavella, also known as the horns of Asinao, an hour's drive from the hotel. Bavella is a high place of the Corsican mountains. At once a massif, a pass and a forest, this grandiose site alone sums up the particularities of the island's relief: extravagant shapes and shimmering colours ranging from the lightest red to the darkest grey, all sprinkled with immense forests of laricio pine.

The Bavella mountain range, which attracts hikers (the famous GR20 passes at the foot of the massif), climbing and canyoning enthusiasts, culminates at an altitude of nearly 1900 m. It links the western and eastern parts of Corsica.
